All-New 2017.5 Mazda6 From $21,94 In The U.S.

The Mazda6 will soon square off against the 2018 Honda Accord so the company has announced a series of updates to the stylish sedan.

Set to go on sale in October, the updated model gains additional standard equipment as well as several new options.

Starting at the bottom, the 2017.5 Mazda6 Sport costs $21,945 and now comes standard with Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

The Mazda6 Touring starts at $24,195 and it gains heated front seats and a GPS navigation system. Drivers will also have the option to upgrade the standard leatherette seats to leather seats for the first time. The latter option is included in the Touring Premium Package which includes LED headlights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a Homelink connectivity system, and an eight-way power driver’s seat.

The range-topping Mazda6 Grand Touring carries over and retails for $30,695. It comes nicely equipped with a head-up display, a power passenger seat, radar cruise control, lane keep assist, and smart brake support. For an additional $2,500 buyers can order the GT Premium Package which adds Nappa leather seats, a heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and an i-ELOOP regenerative braking system.

All of the models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 184 hp (137 kW) and 185 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. Sport and Touring models are offered with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, while the Grand Touring is available exclusively with the latter gearbox.
