Mercedes-Benz has started accepting orders for the EQV electric luxury minivan in the United Kingdom, where deliveries will commence this fall.
The second member of the EQ sub-brand, after the EQC crossover, is priced from £70,665, or $91,592 at current exchange rates, in EQV 300 Sport guise.
In return, customers will get a nicely-specced minivan with standard 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, reversing camera, MBUX infotainment system, Driving Assistance Package, electric sliding doors, easy-pack tailgate, ambient lighting and a 26-foot (8-meter) charging cable.
If money is no object, then you could get the EQV 300 Sport Premium mid-spec variant, which comes in at £72,895 ($94,482). Compared to the Sport, it adds gear such as a 360-degree camera system, smartphone integration, Table Package, Memory Package and EQV Exterior Design Package.
The range-topper is dubbed the EQV 300 Sport Premium Plus. It starts at £77,145 ($99,991) and comes with a Burmester surround sound system, Airmatic suspension and 18-inch wheels.
All trim levels are powered by an electric motor that generates 201 HP (204 PS / 150 kW) and 268 lb-ft (364 Nm) of torque. Top speed is 87 mph (140 km/h), but can be increased to 99 mph (160 km/h) as an option.
The EQV features a 90 kWh battery pack placed in the underbody for space optimization. It can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 45 minutes, should you find a fast DC charger, and offers a range of 213 miles (343 km).
