All-New 2024 Mazda3 From $24,170 In The U.S.

The updated Mazda3 debuted in Japan earlier this year and its coming stateside this summer.

The entry-level Mazda3 2.5 S will start at $24,170 and be available exclusively as a sedan. That’s a significant jump as the 2023 model began at $22,550.

So what does that extra $1,620 get you? Additional driver assistance systems including Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Rear Door Alert.

Besides the new safety equipment, buyers will find LED lighting units, rain-sensing wipers, and 16-inch alloy wheels. They’re joined by black cloth seats, remote keyless entry, an 8.8-inch infotainment system, and a six-speaker audio system which is downgraded from last year’s eight-speaker setup.
Power is provided by a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter engine that produces 191 hp (142 kW / 194 PS) and 186 lb-ft (252 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Last year’s 2.5 S Select has been replaced by a ‘new’ 2.5 S Select Sport, which begins at $24,690 and is available as either a sedan or hatchback. It’s worth the upgrade as the trim boasts black exterior accents and larger 18-inch wheels. Buyers will also find black leatherette seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system.
The Mazda3 2.5 S Preferred climbs from $25,550 to $26,190 while the recently announced 2.5 S Carbon Edition starts at $29,060. It features an available Polymetal Gray exterior with black accents and black 18-inch wheels. The model also has a wireless smartphone charger, red leather seats, and a standard all-wheel drive system.

Customers will also find an all-new Mazda3 2.5 Carbon Turbo, which begins at $31,750. Like all Turbo models for 2024, it features a larger 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Turbos also boast a newly standard wireless smartphone charger, which used to be a $295 option.

Of course, most buyers will be more interested in the turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that develops up to 250 hp (186 kW / 253 PS) and 320 lb-ft (433 Nm) of torque on premium gasoline. Those numbers drop to 227 hp (169 kW / 230 PS) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) on regular.

The hatchback, which is the only body style available with a six-speed manual, will arrive at dealerships this summer. It will be followed by the sedan this fall.
